    About the Course

Fort Washington Golf and Country Club began operations in 1923 as a 9 hole course with dirt fairways and sand greens. Its original design was the work of Mr. William Watson. The name Fort Washington was inspired by the area’s military fort of the early pioneers and settlers.

A great starting hole! Bunker right, bunker left with out of bounds all the way down the right side demands a straight drive. Lay up or go for it in two. Then finish on a large undulating but bunker protected green. A very makable birdie.

    Yardage 379 483 468 455
    Par 4 5 5 5
    Handicap 1 11 11 5

This is a challenging par four. OB right which also presents large Eucalyptus trees and 2 bunkers on the left side demand a straight drive. A good drive leaves a long second shot with OB right again, trees and bunker left.

    Yardage 379 425 404 385
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 5 11 3 7

A relatively short 3 par featuring a beautiful green framed in a cluster of mature trees. The hole is also protected by bunkers.

    Yardage 188 173 161 152
    Par 3 3 3 3
    Handicap 17 11 17 17

More OB right…the entire length of the fairway. Tough for most to reach in 2, this 443 yard par 4 features a large green that is unobstructed.

    Yardage 377 443 425 408
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 3 3 5 3

A dynamic 4 par with a severe downhill, dogleg left. The left side of the fairway just before the drop is guarded with a large Eucalyptus. Place your drive in the valley between 100 and 150 yards to leave a challenging approach shot over a relatively severe bunker depending upon pin placement.

    Yardage 280 339 328 318
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 9 13 13 13

The # 1 rated handicap hole from the white tees…this hole will challenge golfers at every level. More OB right with more large trees…a big drive gives you a nice shot at a deceivingly sloped green.

    Yardage 301 422 417 399
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 7 1 1 1

Approximately 200 yards from tee to green from the men’s tees with a severe elevation drop, this hole is forgiving on the left but penalizing on the right. The green is large and plays true.

    Yardage 167 204 197 171
    Par 3 3 3 3
    Handicap 15 9 9 15

A beautiful hole featuring a slight dogleg right and mature, large palms providing a picturesque backdrop to a large green. A good drive slightly left of center and a good approach shot can only help your score.

    Yardage 318 403 385 365
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 13 7 7 9

A 484 par 5 with estate homes on the right, a significant dip in the fairway off the tee, again at 250 yards out and one more with a dogleg right to a difficult green…stay below the hole on your approach shot.

    Yardage 432 505 484 465
    Par 5 5 5 5
    Handicap 11 17 15 11

A chance to unload a big drive with a straight shot to the green which is slightly pitched and open in the center.

    Yardage 378 424 410 400
    Par 4 4 4 5
    Handicap 14 6 2 14

Eleven is illusive…what seems like a simple 3 par can quickly turn into a bogey or worse. Large Eucalyptus off the left side of the green with traps both right and left make this one tougher than at first glance.

    Yardage 140 162 154 145
    Par 3 3 3 3
    Handicap 16 16 12 16

A big drive will give you a chance at reaching in two if you are straight long. A few sand traps both right and left could penalize an errant drive. This is a tough 5 for most!

    Yardage 454 531 505 484
    Par 5 5 5 5
    Handicap 10 14 16 10

Stay straight and you won’t have problems here. A good drive places you atop a slight perch with the chance to stick your approach on the pin. Go to far right and you are in the Eucalyptus…short means sand wedge.

    Yardage 356 412 398 388
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 6 4 6 6

Our signature hole, 14 is a challenge offering a great view of the clubhouse and pond with water feature. The hole lays out fairly simply but stay center or left center to keep clear of the large Eucalyptus. Don’t come up short and left or dig out another ball.

    Yardage 368 426 398 374
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 2 2 4 8

Fifteen offers a perched tee box with a connecting pond directly off the tee. Large redwoods protect the right side so stay straight. On your approach the green is significantly elevated. The green drops off from back to front but is relatively generous in size.

    Yardage 290 326 313 304
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 12 12 14 12

This long 5 par features water left off the tee, large Eucalyptus right, a severe dip from your drive to your second shot, an ascending approach and a tough green. Play for your 3rd shot and a par is in the bag.

    Yardage 465 514 509 470
    Par 5 5 5 5
    Handicap 4 10 10 2

A 3 par straight away with bunkers left, right and center. The left side of the green falls off to a large slope which is trouble.

    Yardage 100 146 119 104
    Par 3 3 3 3
    Handicap 16 18 18 18

A great finishing hole…alternating elevated tee and a descending fairway which is well protected on both sides by large Eucalyptus. To hit this green, stay straight and use plenty of club. The entry driveway is OB right.

    Yardage 272 391 386 371
    Par 4 4 4 4
    Handicap 8 8 8 4
